On World Cancer Day, February 2016, Loftus launched a series of podcasts with Maggie’s Centres – a charity offering ‘more than medicine’ to people affected by cancer.  Our shared ambition was to raise awareness of Maggie’s Centres.

The Maggie’s team were drawn to audio because they felt the medium was as intimate as the work they did, and an excellent way to reach out to people with cancer, and their family and friends.

Working alongside Maggie’s, Loftus developed a series of podcasts all about ‘living well with cancer’. They feature famous names like Victoria Derbyshire, Kirstie Allsop and Johnnie Walker, as well as experts, and perhaps most importantly, the people Maggie’s supports every day.

Our first podcast featured stories of isolation. “This was a sad and unflinching but respectful account of living with and near to cancer. Everyone should hear it.” – Independent journalist Fiona Sturges

Further podcasts include ‘Food, My Mother, and Me’, ‘Maggie’s Men’s Hour’, ‘Come Into The Garden’ and more.

For each, we’ve produced promotional assets for social media, including short video trailers like this one.
