What will we collect and how will we use it?
The personal information we collect from you when you contact us is your name, email and (when provided) phone number and physical address. The legal basis on which Loftus Media processes your personal information is its Legitimate Interest in producing and developing content for our programmes as well as administering the production of that content.
Loftus Media is the ‘data controller’ of this information. This means that Loftus Media decides what your personal information is used for, and the ways in which it is processed. Where we process your personal information for our Legitimate Interests, we will carefully consider any impact on you and will not use your personal information where such impact overrides our interests.
Retaining your personal information
We will keep your data from phone calls, emails, social media messages and letters in line with our data retention policy, and no longer than is required for us to produce and manage the content for which we have collected your data. Your data will then be destroyed. The periods for which your data will be held can be obtained from the production team of the programme you have contacted.
Sharing your information
The information you provide will not be shared with anyone outside the production team of the programme you have contacted.
