Lockdown at Loftus
2020 forced us all to think creatively about the way that we work and connect. With remote work becoming more of a normality, we found ways to be resourceful and continue to meet our client needs.
We continued to produce impactful audio content and our photography team also adapted brilliantly by coming up with creative solutions for socially distanced shoots for our client, BBC. They captured artists on their doorsteps, radio presenters, who kept the nation going, from their lockdown studios, and emerging musicians whose festival dreams had been thwarted.
There was also beautiful photographic features such as ‘This is My Story’, for BBC Radio 1Xtra, whereby four British black writers – Candice Braithwaite, Bernadine Evaristo, Caleb Azumah Nelson and Benjamin Zephania, shared in their familiar settings, how both lockdown and the killing of George Floyd had impacted upon their lives and creativity.

''I genuinely feel that for many Black creators, also for many Black authors, writers, content creators... there is going to be a moment of great harvest.''
